to claim the up-to-dateness of nature photography spreading the knowledge of its basic conceptual elements;
to heighten the phases of conception, planning, and realization of the nature photography work, and the analysis of the languages utilized;
to contribute, through the exploration by images of the natural world, to the deepening of the relationship with the animal and plant kingdoms, to the understanding of the life-death cycle, and therefore to the research concerning the relationship between man and nature, as well as the introspective study of the human being;
to reassess the representation of natural beauty as: a value capable of mitigating the tensions within present-day society; a quality which can illuminate the richness and the biological variety of the planet, and inspire its protection; a linking element with the origins of our evolutionary history; a point of reference for any and whatsoever ideal development process;
